The Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship is a two-year accredited program designed to train psychiatrists to treat the unique needs of this specialized patient population. Rotations will include traditional inpatient, outpatient and consult-liaison experiences in addition to community-based initiatives, school-based programming and a focus on interdisciplinary and collaborative care.
As one of only three psychiatry training sites in South Carolina, and the only child and adolescent training program in the Upstate, the fellowship utilizes faculty and teaching opportunities throughout the region to better the care for all children in the area. This new, innovative program and curriculum includes complementary and alternative medicine and experiential learning.
