Family Medicine Residency Program
Welcome to the Greenville Health System (GHS)/University of South Carolina (USC) Family Medicine Residency Program
The GHS/ USC Family Medicine Residency is three-year ACGME accredited program established in 1971 and located in Greenville, South Carolina. Our program is designed to provide comprehensive, high-quality family medicine education with the goal of transforming health care for the people we serve. We will prepare you to practice in a variety of settings (academic, urban, community or rural), care for patients of all ages, pursue advanced fellowship opportunities. You will develop the expertise to become a leader in family medicine.
The major strength of our program includes the collaborative relationships that we have with other training programs within our institution on clinical, educational, and scholarly activity initiatives. All of our physicians are held to higher standards in providing patient care, but to also contribute to education, research, and community service. Through our partnership with these other services, you will practice at the highest bar of patient care, which will maximize your ability to gain a well-rounded education.
