This is a reminder that GHS faculty and staff must route all grant proposals through the GHS Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP). This applies whether GHS is applying directly to the sponsor or if GHS is working through another organization or institution (subaward). Likewise, all incoming grant award agreements must route through OSP for review and approval.
Through this office, GHS employees benefit from the expertise of grant professionals when submitting externally-funded grant proposals, negotiating awards and managing grants.
If you or your department has an externally-funded grant (regardless of sponsor), we ask you to notify the Office of Sponsored Programs as soon as possible. Your cooperation will allow GHS to maintain an accurate record of grant activity and funding.
Serving as the primary liaison between GHS and outside sponsors, the Office of Sponsored Programs ensures accountability and adherence to the standards of external funding entities, GHS policies, and federal and state guidelines. The resources and expertise housed in the Office of Sponsored Programs make tracking grant expenditures, reporting activities and compliance easier.
If you have questions, please contact Hagan Walker at firstname.lastname@example.org or 455-9861. You may also download the office’s Intent to Submit form at http://hsc.ghs.org/proposal/ or visit http://hsc.ghs.org/grants/ for more information. GHS affiliates should submit this form for all proposals in preparation.
