Outstanding Research Team Member Award
Jennifer Caldwell, RN, BSN, OCN, was recognized as the Outstanding Research Team Member for 2017. Since 2015, Caldwell has been the Nurse Coordinator for Cancer Care Delivery Research (CCDR), which consists of trials aimed at improving clinical outcomes, enhancing patient experiences, optimizing efficiencies and recognizing the complexities of cancer treatment. She has been integral in inaugurating and developing the CCDR foundation with NCORP of the Carolinas and continues to augment the infrastructure for this level of research. Caldwell demonstrates and initiates ongoing investment and commitment from health care providers and is engaged nationally with the NCI in brainstorming concepts and processes for CCDR.
